Schwartz Physical Therapy has a 37 year history in New Jersey, starting in 1965 at Mountainside Hospital with in and out patient care as well as part-time home care. Over the years, we slowly added 7 nursing home contracts. At 2 of the facilities, we were instrumental in the initial designing, equipping and furnishing. Twenty years later, we progressed to an out patient office in Long Branch. Most recently, (2000) we added another location for outpatient care. Meanwhile, home care is still a daily undertaking. We will continue to update our skills and facilities as new ideas and equipment are developed.

John and Dana Schwartz and their fine staff provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to relieve pain, restore flexibility, and function. We maximize ambulation and balance/coordination skills following injury or illness and pre & post op joint replacement care. Back and neck problems have been controlled using McKenzie and spinal stabilization techniques as well as multiple modalities and massage as appropriate. We work side by side with a rheumatologist in the return of function and elimination of pain for those with arthritis.
